About Babuji
I'm Babuji, a Singaporean currently heading into NTU's Nanyang Business School but before that, I spent time as a commissioned officer in the Singapore Armed Forces.
Outside of academics and service, I volunteer with CPASS, supporting children with cerebral palsy. It's taught me more about patience and adaptability than any classroom ever could. Every child is different, and I've never believed in a one-size-fits-all approach.
I graduated from Anglo-Chinese Junior College and have always had a strong foundation in English, Math, and the Sciences. Tamil is my mother tongue, and it's a language I'm genuinely passionate about keeping alive in younger generations.
I won't pretend tutoring is just a job to me, I find something deeply satisfying about the moment a concept finally clicks for a kid who's been struggling with it. That's what keeps me showing up prepared and fully present every session.

I don't just teach I make concepts stick.
Every session starts with a quick diagnostic to figure out exactly where the gap is, so we're never wasting time on things your child already knows. From there, I use a mix of the Feynman Technique (explaining concepts back in their own words until it clicks), spaced repetition for retention, and real-world analogies that make abstract ideas feel tangible.
For Science and Math, I work backwards from exam questions to teach pattern recognition so your child isn't just memorizing formulas, they're thinking like a problem-solver.
For English, I focus on structured response frameworks that work across any question type.
For Tamil, lessons are conversational-first, building confidence before accuracy.
Sessions are typically 1 to 1.5 hours, paced around your child's energy and focus — not a rigid clock.
I'm an A-Level graduate from Anglo-Chinese Junior College and a former commissioned SAF officer, where I spent years breaking down complex information for teams quickly and clearly. That skill translates directly into tutoring.
My lessons are designed for Primary 1–6 students (ages 7–12), whether they need catching up, keeping up, or getting ahead.
