About Cameron
I have recently completed the second year of my masters course in Engineering at the university of Cambridge, and have achieved A*s in maths, further maths, computer science and physics A levels.
I also completed aptitude tests and interviews for both the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London, and was successful in getting offers for both universities, as well as receiving offers from the University of Nottingham and the University of Southampton for Aerospace Engineering.
Despite initially applying for Aerospace Engineering courses, I am now specialising in Bioengineering, Instrumentation/Control Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. This means that I am able to help with applications in many different engineering specialisms, as well as general engineering courses.
This gives me recent first-hand experience of studying maths and physics at this level, allowing me to offer useful help to students based on how I overcame difficulty and confusion to eventually develop a strong understanding of the entire syllabus, and how they can do the same.
I have previous experience independently tutoring GCSE and A level students in maths and physics, as well as working for a tutoring company.

My approach consists of 1 hour lessons focused on a particular concept, starting with a few questions to assess how well the student grasps the concept, followed by explanations of any areas that the student is unsure on. Finally, I will give the students a few more complex questions to test their knowledge of the topic and to get them used to facing the more difficult questions which are required to achieve higher grades in exams.
In the case of sessions on university applications, I can help students to write a personal statement, as well as taking them through example interview and exam questions and mock interviews.
