About Dougie
I'm an undergraduate student at Clare College, Cambridge, studying maths. I love my subject and learning in general, and worked towards eleven 9s at GCSE in a range of subjects, including the sciences, music, and two foreign languages, and 4A*s in maths, further maths, physics, and chemistry at A-level. I have a a gold medal at the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics, a distinction in the British Maths Olympiad, a gold certificate in Round 2 of the British Physics Olympiad, a distinction in Round 2 of the UK Linguistics Olympiad, and a gold certificate in the UK Chemistry Olympiad.

I can offer a passion for maths and science, that's for certain. Not only is knowledge important for a subject, so is enthusiasm and confidence, traits we'll work to up. And having sat my A-levels less than two years ago, I know the exams we work towards. Flexible 60 to 90 minute sessions designed for A-level students from an undergraduate student who knows exactly what you're going through. I will teach any ability range up to and including extending students for the bridge to a top university, or in preparation for the olympiads.

Dougie provided invaluable extra-curricular support to students at high school and tutored them in a wide range of subjects. In the classroom, Dougie would often help to provide clarity to students if they'd not quite grasped a concept in the way a teacher had taught.
