About Baseer

I'm a 17 year old trying to pick up tutoring as a side job alongside A-levels, I also find a joy in helping people excel academically as this can be the trajectory of their career. Alongside my A-levels I also play basketball at a high level and go gym so I'm not just a "tutor" for your child but I can also build a connection with them so that the learning process for them is less tedious allowing them to do much better than if they were with a tutor who only cares about the money.

About the lesson

I'm an A-level student currently studying Further Maths, Maths, Chemistry, and Physics, and I'm passionate about helping others achieve their academic goals in GCSE Chemistry, Physics, and Maths. Teaching Style & Methodology I focus on building a solid understanding of the core concepts before moving on to problem-solving techniques. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace—whether that means breaking topics down step by step, using visual aids, or going through exam-style questions in detail. I also place a strong emphasis on exam technique, helping students improve not just what they know, but how they apply it under exam conditions. Lesson Structure My lessons are typically 60 minutes long, with the option to extend or shorten based on your preferences. Each session includes topic review, guided practice, and time for questions, with optional homework or revision tasks if desired. I'm very flexible with my timings. Experience & Qualifications While I’m currently in sixth form, I’ve achieved high grades at GCSE (top 20% in the country across the board and getting an 8 in maths and chemistry) and have experience tutoring younger students both formally and informally as I'm a student leader at my school being a peer mentor for the younger years. Being close in age to my students helps me explain concepts in a relatable and accessible way—something my students often appreciate!
