I am a first year Exeter university student studying liberal arts. At A level I studied Maths, Economics and English. My major in liberal arts is English however I still have a great interest for maths and therefore would love to continue teaching others.

My teaching method is focused around practice and improvement. It sounds very basic but with a subject like maths focus on improving areas a student does not understand is often the most beneficial way in improving grades. Whether it is teaching the topic in a different more understandable way, or repeatedly practicing the topic I have found specific focus is very beneficial. As maths is such an interconnected subject, and solid understanding of one topic will often lead to an instantly better understanding of another.
