About Nelyn
Hello! I am Nelyn I. Taligatos, a licensed Mathematics teacher with nearly 15 years of teaching experience in the Department of Education. I currently teach Grade 8 and Grade 9 Mathematics and am passionate about helping students develop confidence and success in Math. Interestingly, Mathematics was once a challenging subject for me, which is why I understand the struggles many learners face. This experience has inspired me to become a patient, supportive, and encouraging educator. I believe that every student can excel in Mathematics when concepts are explained clearly and learning is made engaging, meaningful, and connected to real-life situations. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students build critical thinking skills and a positive attitude toward learning Mathematics.
