About Samiha
I am a BSc student at the University of Toronto majoring in biology and minoring in psychology and biomedical communications. Before Superprof, I was a local tutor who focused on math at the middle school level. I can support students with their homework, assignments, or test prep!

Ideally have a 30-minute meeting (free) before the first lesson to meet the students and complete a small questionnaire regarding your goals. This meeting will allow me to understand the students and create a lesson plan.
A regular lesson plan: revise the material, teach the main concepts, then follow up with practice questions. If there are specific questions the student would like help with, we could solve them step-by-step.
The lessons are aimed at grades 9 to 12, ranging from foundational concepts to complex topics. I only provide one-hour classes.
PLEASE SEND MATERIALS AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. This applies to worksheets from class, textbook sections/questions, any test deadlines or the syllabus. This is very important since it tells me the time we are working with and I can review it to teach you efficiently.

Per request, I can create customizable worksheets for the students to work on during the lesson. Students can take any extra material I've prepared at the end of the lesson. Additional rates will be applied for this!
Rates are subject to change if I have to find material for you. It is preferred that future students provide their textbooks or materials as it is more convenient and allows me to prepare a detailed lesson plan. We can discuss additional rates before booking a lesson.
Finding or creating material takes time, especially if it is a complex topic. It would be greatly appreciated if students could identify which concepts are difficult beforehand and let me know at the start of the lesson so I could focus on helping them with those concepts first.
