About Boots

I started taking Country dance lessons in 1998 and never stopped! I was asked to “temporarily” teach line dance in 2009, until the lead instructor at the Wild West Saloon could find a replacement. She never came back with a replacement so I continue teaching. I am passionate about what I do and have done many group workshops as well as privates! I use all genres of music and have taught all ages! I LOVE LINE DANCING!!

Absolute Beginner Line Dance Lessons

Absolute Beginner, Beginner, Improver
(perfect if you know little to nothing about line dance)

Beginners Practice

PLEASE bring dry, clean shoes to switch into so the dance floor isn't wet while dancing.

No outside food or beverage allowed once we have our Liquor Licence due to licensing rules/laws.

$10 for lesson
$7 for lesson for Members
$10/lesson for drop in
$7/lesson for members or pre-paid via e-transfer

IMPROVER & BEYOND LINE DANCE Hour Thursdays!
8:00pm - 9:00pm
1-3 Improvers / 1-2 Intermediate / & If time / 1 Advanced

This HOUR is not for the faint of heart as we will focus more on Improver and above.
Beginners, hold onto your britches!
If attending this hour, you should be well rehearsed in basic footwork, like a grapevine, and levelled up footwork, like vauldervilles.

Tags and restarts should be expected and understood.

Terrylynn at Boots is an amazing instructor! She is welcoming, funny and very patient. I have attended with my daughter and Terrylynn has the patience of a saint and made sure everyone understood all the footwork, especially the young ones. She teaches the diversity of music and how we can line dance to any song! Prices are reasonable and she works with every situation individually. I can go on and on. Attend one of her lessons and you can see for yourself.

Our Group classes that run Thursdays start at $5 and go to $10, depending on how you register. Privates are $95/hour (plus GST) plus travel of .68 per km. (Plus GST)
