My name is Mimi, and I am a native Japanese speaker living in London.
I provide friendly and personalised Japanese lessons for students of all levels.
Along with language learning, I enjoy sharing Japanese culture, traditions, and everyday life to make lessons both practical and enjoyable.

About the lesson

I offer friendly and personalised Japanese lessons for all levels. My lessons focus on practical communication, vocabulary, grammar, and Japanese culture.

I have experience working in customer-facing roles and in the insurance industry, which helped me develop strong communication skills and patience.

Lessons are available online or in person, and are tailored to your goals and learning pace.

I look forward to helping you improve your Japanese!

Perfect! Mimi was a great conversation partner during our first lesson despite my novice level. She is also quite good at giving you a breakdown of the words and encouraging you to practice Japanese.

If you are looking for conversation practice and review, I highly recommend her.

This however did not align with my needs, as I was looking for a structured program for intensive study and fast progression.

You pick up new language very quickly and are able to use it in conversation almost immediately. I think you’ll be able to communicate smoothly in Japanese before long!

You’re already able to hold a conversation, so I think expanding your vocabulary and improving your listening skills will help you make even faster progress.

Since it was our first lesson, we mainly focused on getting to know your current level and learning goals through conversation. From our next lesson, I’d be happy to provide more structured lessons tailored to your goals:)
