About Lisa
Hi there! I am Lisa and I graduated with an LLB (Second Upper) from the University of London and also hold a teaching diploma in the IATA/UFTAA tourism courses. I enjoy helping students get a firm grasp of things, especially when the subject feels overwhelming. I’m considering continuing my legal studies in the near future, but for now I’m offering tutoring and doing my best to support students preparing for exams. I tutor Evidence Law for students doing the University of London LLB. I focus on helping you prepare for closed-book exams, especially if you're finding topics like hearsay, admissibility, or burden of proof a little too tough and confusing. My sessions are straightforward and exam-focused. I keep things practical — clear explanations, small memory tips, case analysis, and writing drills. I hold a teaching diploma and spent over 15 years teaching IATA/UFTAA closed-book tourism diploma courses. My students regularly scored top results in Malaysia, and I received commendation letters from IATA for teaching excellence. Therefore, I’m used to helping students prepare with the kind of memory techniques — like mnemonics and quick-reference formats — that are really useful for last-minute exam prep. Note: I offer a free 30-minute introductory session; not a full lesson. This is a relaxed chat where we get to know each other, discuss your goals, and walk through a small but interesting topic in Evidence Law — just enough to give you a feel for my teaching style before you decide whether or not to commit to paid lessons. Group lessons: While most of my sessions are one-on-one, I also offer small group lessons (max of 3 students) for those preparing for the same exam session. If you’d like to learn with a friend or classmate, feel free to ask about group rates.
