About Lynda
I am looking for ESL students in Nakusp, Armstrong or Vernon, to learn from a Superteacher. I am certified to teach ESL, make conversation and give help with pronunciation. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Public and Community Health Education. I have taught in Taiwan, Germany and Canada, Swiss adults.

My teaching methods may vary. I like my students to learn in a fun atmosphere. I teach in a student based environment. I like to play games in my methods and work on communications. I would like to teach in a community setting such as a library, coffee shop or store. I approach teaching in a casual atmosphere so the student wants to learn and doesn't feel any pressure. Consistency and repetition and encouragement are a few of the techniques I work on. I am always happy to meet and greet my students with enthusiasm each day. I have taught beginners right up to adults who work for the government. I also like to teach everyday things and practical things. I like to work in an atmosphere where the students learn in everyday situations, like using a phone, supermarket, library.
