About Naomi

My name is Naomi, and I am a native Japanese speaker with professional experience in international work environments. I bring both cultural knowledge and practical communication skills into my lessons.

I have worked for several years in customer-focused and international roles, where clear communication, patience, and adaptability were essential. Through these experiences, I developed strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of how to explain ideas clearly to people from different backgrounds.

As a tutor, I take my responsibility seriously. I prepare structured lessons, adapt to each student’s goals, and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe language learning should be both effective and enjoyable.

My lessons are organized, goal-oriented, and tailored to each learner’s level. Whether you are studying Japanese for travel, personal interest, or long-term goals, I will guide you step by step with professionalism and care.

You can expect reliability, clear guidance, and a positive learning atmosphere that helps you grow with confidence.

About the lesson

My goal as a tutor is to help students actually use Japanese with confidence, not just study it from textbooks.

【Teaching methodology and techniques】
My lessons are conversation-focused and practical.
I combine:
・Real-life Japanese used in daily conversations, travel, and anime
・Clear explanations of grammar and expressions in simple English
・Repetition and role-play to help students speak naturally
I adapt each lesson to the student’s interests, especially anime, Japanese culture, and travel situations.

【A typical lesson plan】
A typical lesson includes:
・Warm-up conversation (simple Japanese, adjusted to your level)
・Learning new vocabulary or expressions (often from anime scenes or travel situations)
・Short grammar explanation with examples
・Practice through conversation, role-play, or scenario-based exercises
・Review and optional homework if the student wants extra practice

【What sets me apart as a tutor】
What makes my lessons different is that I focus on natural, spoken Japanese and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Thanks to my experience working with people from different countries, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and create lessons that feel supportive, not stressful.

【Who the lessons are for】
My lessons are ideal for:
・Anime lovers who want to understand and use Japanese phrases naturally
・People preparing for a trip to Japan
・Beginners to intermediate learners
・Students who want to improve speaking and listening rather than memorization

If you want to enjoy learning Japanese and start speaking with confidence, I’d be happy to help you.
