About Ryan

I am an undergraduate at the London School of Economics studying BSc. Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE), one of the most competitive courses in the country with an acceptance rate of just 3.5%. My academic background includes 3 A*s at A Level, a full set of grade 9s at GCSE, and top national results in competitions such as the UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge. I am also the winner of multiple international essay competitions, including the Harvard International Review Gold Medal, with my work recognised in the journal alongside contributions from world leaders and Nobel Prize laureates. With this record of achievement, I bring proven expertise, intellectual curiosity, and a results-driven approach to every student I teach.

About the lesson

My tutoring is focused on helping students achieve the best possible grades while building confidence in their ability to solve problems independently. I combine clear explanations with interactive questioning, encouraging students to think critically about why a method or theory works, not just how. This approach makes learning more engaging and ensures students can adapt their knowledge to any type of exam question. Every lesson also incorporates targeted past paper practice, exam technique, and timing strategies so that students are fully prepared for the challenges of exams. Lessons are typically one hour, though I am flexible to suit individual needs. I tutor online, which allows me to work with students from anywhere while keeping lessons highly interactive and structured. I have tutored Maths and Economics up to A Level, helping students secure top grades, and I also prepare younger students for the 11+ entrance exams, focusing on building strong foundations in Maths, reasoning, and exam confidence.
