About Christine
Je parle français, anglais et suis maman de 2 adolescents fantastiques. Je possède de l'experience avec les Troubles Envahissants du Développement, dont 15 ans avec le Trouble du Spectre de l'Autisme (Asperger).
I have a bachelor degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) near Cape Canaveral. My teachers were NASA engineers, so yes I had the chance to assist to a space shuttle launch.
I have been working for the past 20 years as an engineer specialized in RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety). I perform functional safety analysis on aircraft and train systems. The purpose of my work is to demonstrate that one single failure cannot result in a catastrophic situation. Once I am convinced that everything is safe, I submit my Safety Assessment report to Transport Canada, in order for the aircraft to be certified safe to fly. I had the chance to work around the world on amazing programs such as the Airbus A380 double-decker, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and the Bombardier C-Series (now called Airbus A220).

Ma méthode d'enseignement est personnalisée pour chaque enfant. J'insiste pour voir les cahiers de cours et la théorie qui fut enseignée à votre enfant. Je considère qu'il est important en un premier temps d'utiliser les mêmes termes et les mêmes notions que son professeur afin d’éviter toute confusion. Si l'enfant éprouve toujours des difficultés, alors j'introduirai de nouvelles méthodes, toujours adaptées à son niveau. Une fois la difficulté surmontée, je reviens toujours a la méthode enseignée par son professeur, afin de m'assurer qu'il comprend aussi cette méthode avec laquelle il éprouvait des difficultés. J’interagis beaucoup avec l'enfant. Je le questionne et lui donne des indices afin qu'il développe son esprit analytique et parvienne a trouver lui même les réponses. Je lui parle et lui montre visuellement ce que je lui enseigne. Donc qu'il soit auditif ou visuel, il pourra assimiler l'information à sa façon.
