About Sophia
My teaching methods are adapted to every student, because I believe that everyone has a different way of learning. It is important for a teacher to understand this in order for their students to succeed. For example, if I had a student that learned better with a hands on approach, I would design interactive activities for them in order to maximize their potential. In addition, I like to vary my teaching between the classic ways to introduce a new subject with more modern approaches to teaching such as playing learning games or watching educational short videos.

I am currently studying business at the University level with a concentration in Marketing. I obtained both my high school diploma and my collegial diploma. I graduated from the International Program in high school. In addition, I graduated from the Honours Commerce program in Cegep. I live in a multicultural household, so learning different languages has always been a given. In addition, I've tutored elementary students in different subjects, as well as teaching English to students in different countries.
