About Keira

My lessons are designed to make learning playful, curious, and enjoyable. I use a nurturing and personalized approach so every student feels comfortable exploring ideas. Together, we dive into fun logic puzzles, simple game theory ideas, and fascinating recreational mathematics.

You will also learn to spot math in everyday life. From patterns in games to clever number tricks, math starts to appear everywhere. We work through collaborative challenges that encourage thinking and creativity. Every “aha!” moment is celebrated because it shows real understanding growing.

I guide learners step by step, helping them build confidence while developing strong thinking skills. Parents are also supported, knowing their child is learning in a positive and encouraging environment. Curiosity is always welcomed and questions are part of the fun. The goal is not just to solve problems, but to enjoy the process of thinking.

About the lesson

I am a dedicated Maths tutor with over 3 years of teaching experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Data Science. I enjoy helping students understand not just formulas, but the ideas that make mathematics powerful. My lessons often explore stochastic processes and Markov chains, which are fascinating tools for probabilistic modeling. These concepts help explain real-world systems in finance and biology in clear and meaningful ways.

I have a special passion for teaching random walks and transition probabilities. They show how patterns appear even in situations that seem completely uncertain. In my sessions, we connect these ideas to real applications such as stock market prediction and population dynamics. I focus on breaking down complex probabilistic ideas into simple steps that are easy to follow. Students often discover that topics they once feared become interesting and manageable.
