About Daisy

I am a French tutor with over four years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Francophone Studies. I love helping high school and university students who find grammar and essay writing challenging. My approach is creative and student-centered. I take complex grammar rules and break them into simple, digestible steps that make sense. I also guide students in developing clear, expressive writing that reflects their ideas with confidence. Many learners tell me they finally understand how French sentences work after our sessions. I enjoy using examples from poetry, history, and literature to make lessons richer and more meaningful. These subjects inspire students and show them how beautiful the language can be. I design each lesson to match the student’s pace and needs. Sometimes we focus on structure, and other times on voice and expression. I believe every student can improve with the right support. Watching them grow is the best part of my work. And above all, I love turning their challenges into lasting confidence.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is centered on making French clear, practical, and enjoyable for every learner. I focus strongly on conversational fluency so students can speak with confidence in real situations. Cultural immersion is an important part of my lessons, allowing learners to connect with French traditions, expressions, and daily life. I also guide students through accent reduction with simple, effective techniques that help them sound more natural. Grammar coaching is provided in an easy and structured way, avoiding confusion.

I create step-by-step lesson plans based on each student’s level and goals. Some need academic guidance, and I support them fully in improving accuracy and performance. Others prepare for exams, and I help them strengthen their skills with practice tasks and feedback. I use reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities to build complete language ability. My sessions are interactive and flexible. I adjust methods whenever needed to ensure steady progress. Whether for studies, work, or personal growth, I help learners excel and feel confident using French.
