About Kealan
I have most recently completed an Msc. in Mathematics in King's College London and am expected to graduate with a first-class honours (awaiting the results our our dissertation).
I have experience teaching through Trinity College's Voluntary Tuition Programme, teaching content across nine subjects to young learners in South Korea and preparing international students for Cambridge English language exams.
Mathematics, for me, has always been a subject of intrinsic beauty, but it can also be quite intimidating! Breaking through on a problem or understanding something can prove immensely rewarding, and it is always validating as a teacher to see something finally click for a student and the sense of personal accomplishment that brings.

I have experience both with one-on-one teaching and small classroom teaching and can ensure that lessons are structured and tailored around a student's specific needs.
My teaching methods follow the methods I have personally used to achieve A1's in Leaving Cert Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, as well as achieve a first-class honours degree. A strong emphasis is placed on an intuitive understanding of the material, using examples to illuminate the underlying content, before moving on to formalising this content and becoming exam-ready.
