About Nico

My teaching approach in Physics is nurturing and personalized, designed to help each student grow in their own way. For students interested in modern applications, I integrate topics like computer modeling, data visualization, numerical methods, and the basics of scientific programming.

I believe that physics becomes truly exciting when you can simulate and visualize complex systems. That's why I guide students to explore physical problems through computational tools. Whether it’s modeling a particle in a potential well or simulating radioactive decay, we turn theory into hands-on learning.

I’m a Physics tutor with over 8 years of experience and hold a Master’s degree in Physics (MPhys). My specialization lies at the fascinating intersection of physics and biology, where I’ve guided students through the intricate concepts of biophysics and the physics of living systems. From the nanoscopic operation of molecular motors to the biomechanics of the human body, I help learners connect physical laws to life’s essential processes.

I’ve worked extensively with biology students, pre-med hopefuls, and anyone curious about how physics shapes living systems. Whether it’s understanding the diffusion dynamics in membrane transport or the electrical principles behind nerve impulses, I make complex topics accessible and engaging. My lessons are structured yet flexible, adapting to each student’s pace and academic goals.

I enjoy demystifying how ATP fuels molecular machines, how neurons fire, and how muscles generate force through physics principles. I also support students in applying mathematical modeling to biological systems, bridging theory with real-world function.
