About Simon
I am 24 years old, born and raised in Kullavik. In addition to my obvious interest in mathematics, I also have a great interest in music, technology and sports. My interest in mathematics has not always been obvious. I myself had a hard time with math during high school and often experienced frustration with math. It was only when I myself had a private tutor that I first got a teacher who not only explained how I solve a problem, but also why mathematical methods and models worked. The latter was what had always been missing in my previous education. It was after this teacher that I became interested in mathematics and I now want to be the teacher who not only explains how something works, but also why it works.

I believe in individualized teaching. In my opinion, the best way to learn mathematics is a mix between theory and practice. My image of a teacher's task is to be able to partly teach effective methods for solving mathematical problems, but also to be able to explain why and how the methods work purely theoretically. With a good theoretical foundation, the student can not only solve problems but also understand the concepts behind them.
