About Talia

Over the past five years, I’ve taught Spanish as a means of connection and advocacy. Holding a Graduate Certificate in Spanish-English Interpretation, I specialize in teaching Spanish for social justice initiatives. My lessons focus on real-world communication—terminology for activism, human rights, and public health efforts. Students gain practical experience through role-plays and case studies rooted in community organizing. I believe effective language learning must be lived, not memorized. You’ll practice engaging with diverse Spanish-speaking communities in meaningful ways. My goal is to build confidence in your voice and your mission. Each session blends linguistic accuracy with cultural empathy. Together, we’ll harness Spanish as a tool for equity, respect, and empowerment. Let’s make language work for change.

About the lesson

I teach singing through exploration and understanding of the individual voice. Each student’s sound is unique, and my job is to help it grow naturally. We start with resonance and breath management to build a solid foundation. From there, we work on projection and tone shaping for clarity and depth. You’ll learn how to blend chest, head, and mixed voice while maintaining balance. Belting is approached with awareness and care to ensure vocal health. My lessons are interactive and creative, combining exercises with real songs that match your goals. I work closely with both soloists developing their artistry and adult beginners who want to sing freely. Every session is designed around your comfort level and musical style. I aim to make singing an enjoyable, expressive experience. We build confidence as we build control. With time and practice, your tone will become more consistent and expressive. Together, we’ll bring your voice to life in every note.
