About José María

I’m a young person passionate about languages, teaching, and continuous learning. I lived in London for six years, in the Stoke Newington area (Hackney), where I studied at St Mary’s School (Years 5 and 6) and then at Stoke Newington School and Sixth Form. I arrived without speaking a word of English, and thanks to full immersion, daily effort, and living among people from many cultures, I was able to achieve an advanced level and great fluency. After returning to Spain, I completed my A Levels (Bachillerato) and later finished a Vocational Training programme, which I recently completed and which now gives me access to university. This academic year, I will begin a degree in English Studies, with the goal of continuing to grow professionally in the field of languages. I am a native Spanish speaker, and thanks to my strong command of both English and Spanish, I’ve decided to make the most of my skills by offering private lessons in both languages, tailored to all levels and ages. My classes are dynamic, practical, and focused on speaking, pronunciation, listening, and building real confidence. I offer: English lessons for children, teenagers, and adults. Spanish lessons for foreign learners or anyone wanting to improve their speaking skills. Support for children who are learning Spanish at school. Targeted preparation for students taking Spanish for their GCSEs —I’ve been through that myself and I know how to help you succeed.

I offer Spanish lessons for children, teens, and adults, fully adapted to each student's level and learning pace. The approach is practical, dynamic, and focused on: Real-life conversation and listening (useful, natural Spanish) Building confidence to speak fluently, without fear Age-appropriate activities based on each student’s interests Vocabulary, pronunciation, and listening comprehension My top priority is making Spanish learning fun, useful, and motivating—for both kids and adults.
