About Ammar

I am a multidisciplinary educator, researcher, engineer, trainer, and consultant with more than 25 years of experience in research, statistical analysis, professional training, and applied problem solving.
My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, and a PhD in Knowledge Management and Artificial Intelligence. This combination allows me to connect statistical theory with research, technology, business, engineering, health sciences, psychology, education, and other applied fields.
Over the years, I have completed hundreds of statistical and research projects and supported or supervised hundreds of university learners and researchers working on theses, dissertations, and applied studies. I am experienced in translating complex technical ideas into clear, structured explanations and practical decisions.
For Statistics specifically, I combine conceptual teaching with hands-on analysis using tools such as SPSS, R, Stata, SAS, JASP, and Jamovi. I focus on method selection, assumptions, diagnostics, interpretation, and communication - not merely on obtaining software output.
I teach in English, French, and Arabic and adapt my explanations to the learner’s background, level, profession, and goals.

Statistics becomes much easier when you understand the reasoning behind each method instead of memorizing formulas or clicking software menus. My lessons are built around that principle: understand what a method does, why it is appropriate, how to apply it correctly, and how to interpret the result with confidence.
I support university and college students, graduate researchers, MBA learners, doctoral candidates, and professionals who need clear, rigorous, and practical guidance in statistics, probability, econometrics, and statistical software.
Depending on your goals, we can work on:
• Descriptive statistics, distributions, probability, sampling, and statistical inference
• Confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, effect sizes, and statistical power
• Correlation, simple and multiple regression, and model interpretation
• t-tests, ANOVA, ANCOVA, MANOVA, repeated-measures methods, and nonparametric alternatives
• Categorical-data methods, chi-square procedures, and logistic regression
• Econometrics foundations and applied quantitative modeling
• Time-series foundations and forecasting concepts when relevant to your course or project
• Multivariate methods, factor analysis, scale assessment, mediation, and moderation when appropriate to your level and research design
• SPSS, R, Stata, SAS, JASP, Jamovi, and related statistical workflows
• Understanding software output, checking assumptions and diagnostics, selecting defensible methods, and communicating results clearly
Every session is adapted to your actual objective. We may use your course notes, syllabus, dataset, research question, software output, professional problem, or carefully designed examples. I explain concepts visually, numerically, and through practical examples so that you can connect theory to application.
My goal is not to make you dependent on a tutor or on software. I want you to understand the logic of the analysis, recognize common errors, justify your decisions, and become progressively independent.
For research clients, this ad focuses on quantitative analysis and statistical interpretation. Broader support with research questions, proposal design, literature review, qualitative or mixed-methods methodology, and thesis architecture belongs to my separate Thesis Preparation listing.
Getting started: You may begin directly with a paid tutoring session when your objective is already clear. If you prefer to discuss your needs first, we can have a brief free Zoom meeting to clarify your goals and determine the best way forward. No booking or payment is required for this introductory meeting; it is a consultation, not a free teaching hour.
