About Roos
Hi! My name is Roos. I have always had a fascination with nature and it makes me very happy when I can share this with others. During my bachelor's degree in biology, I did an internship at a secondary school and thus received my second-degree teaching qualification. However, I first wanted to continue my studies, so I am now pursuing a master's degree in ecology and evolution. I like to continue my passion for teaching by giving tutoring (chemistry, physics, biology).

By asking the right questions I try to show children/young adults how much they already know. By explaining patiently and calmly, I ensure that they not only remember the lesson material, but also understand it. And most importantly: I try share my enthusiasm about the world with others!
I have experience as a tutor and mentor in high school and university. During my bachelor's degree in biology I obtained my second-degree teaching certificate, but I still wanted to continue my studies. That is why I am now doing my master's degree, but I also want to continue my passion for teaching.
My lessons in science subjects (biology, chemistry, physics) last 1 hour and are intended for all levels of secondary education. I can also provide biology tutoring at university level. I am also happy to give advice on learning techniques or help with planning.

Roos is de geduldigste persoon die ik ken. Ze is in staat om afhankelijk van de persoon een stijl te vinden om iets uit te leggen. Verder is ze heel slim en begrijpt dingen heel snel. In mijn ogen is ze echt een superprof en je zult makkelijk en met plezier door haar begeleiding leren.
Roos is een evenwichtig en vrolijk persoon. Ze is erg slim en deelt haar kennis graag met anderen op een rustige en fijne manier. Ze sluit makkelijk aan bij de ander. Dit merk ik als ze iets aan mij uitlegt of als we ergens over in gesprek zijn.
