About Ella
I’m a passionate guitar teacher with over 4 years of experience and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Guitar Studies. My lessons are centered on ear training and musical awareness. I teach students how to recognize intervals, chords, and melodies directly by ear. Transcribing famous solos is one of my favorite ways to train accuracy and phrasing. We also explore how to identify chord progressions and tonal movement in songs. My approach helps students break free from over-reliance on sheet music. I guide learners in developing both relative and perfect pitch step by step. Each lesson includes real musical examples, not just exercises. My feedback is encouraging, detailed, and always focused on growth. I love working with creative learners who want to understand the guitar from the inside out. Lessons are interactive, supportive, and deeply musical. My goal is to help you hear the guitar as clearly as you play it. Together, we’ll sharpen your ear and unlock your true musical potential.

I teach guitar through a method that blends technique with strong reading skills. My lessons focus on music literacy—understanding both tablature and standard notation. Students learn how to sight-read melodies, chords, and rhythms with ease. We explore rhythm notation to improve timing and groove. My teaching style is structured yet flexible, adapting to every learner’s pace. The Classical Purist perfects tone and clarity through detailed notation work. The Jazz Explorer learns to interpret syncopation and harmonic complexity confidently. I make reading interactive through fun, real-world examples. Each lesson connects the page to the sound of the guitar. I provide consistent feedback to guide progress effectively. My goal is to help every student read fluently and perform expressively. With practice, the notes on the page begin to sing through your hands. Let’s open the door to written music and make it come alive.
