I focus on a hands-on, project-based approach where students actively edit videos during each lesson. By combining technical training in software like Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve with creative storytelling principles, I ensure students develop both technical expertise and artistic flair. Lessons include step-by-step demonstrations, interactive exercises, and personalized feedback to foster growth.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
Introduction (5 minutes): Overview of the day's objectives and tools.
Theory & Demo (15 minutes): Explanation of a specific video editing concept, such as transitions, color grading, or sound design, with a live demonstration.
Practical Exercise (25 minutes): Students practice the concept on provided footage, with my guidance.
Review & Feedback (10 minutes): Evaluation of students’ work and discussion on improvements.
Wrap-Up & Homework (5 minutes): Recap of the lesson and assignment for continued practice.
