About Siobhan
Hi! My name is Siobhan. I am a freelance harpist who has graduated with a Masters Degree in Music Performance from the TU Dublin Conservatory of Music and Drama, having previously received a Bachelor of Music Degree from Maynooth University. I studied the Irish harp and the pedal harp with the renowned harpist Denise Kelly McDonnell.
I have experience performing all over Ireland, including for the President of Ireland on many occasions. I have developed a wide range of repertoire on both the lever and pedal harp from a variety of different genres including Classical, Irish Traditional, and Popular/Contemporary.
I have taught students of all ages and levels from beginners to advanced. I am a passionate teacher and a true advocate for the harp.

During my lessons, I focus on building a solid foundation for my students. This includes a broad mixture of music theory, scales, and keys/key signatures. My curriculum is student based and individualistic. Lesson times are between 30-60 minutes. I have vast experience teaching students of all ages, from beginners to advanced.
