About Syed Imran Murtaza

I have over 2 years of teaching experience and have worked as a Cover Supervisor in UK schools, supporting students across different subjects and year groups. During this time, I also assisted students with special educational needs, helping them understand lessons and build confidence in their learning.

I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and use a digital tablet for online lessons, which allows me to explain concepts clearly by writing, drawing diagrams, and solving problems step by step in real time.

In addition to teaching, I have more than 2 years of experience as a software engineer. This background helps me explain logical thinking and problem solving in a practical and structured way.

I am a patient and supportive tutor, and I tailor every lesson to the individual needs and learning style of each student. My goal is to help students build strong foundations, gain confidence, and achieve their academic goals.

Typically, each lesson lasts about one hour, providing ample time for explanation, practice, and review. I hold a Master's degree in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Liverpool, and I'm experienced in teaching Mathematics and Computer Science up to A-Level, and Physics, Chemistry, and Chess up to GCSE/O-Level. My lessons cater to students of various ages and skill levels, fostering both academic success and genuine interest in the subject.
