About Sarah
I'm a high school English teacher and college adjunct English instructor with ten years of teaching experience. I hold a bachelor's degree in English, as well as master's degrees in English literature and business administration. I have experience teaching a wide range of courses at the high school and college levels, including AP and dual enrollment courses, literature courses, academic and creative writing courses, test prep, and professional/technical writing courses. I'm also a certified AP instructor and AP exam scorer, and I'd love to use my expertise to help you!

I work one-on-one with my students to provide differentiated instruction specifically tailored to meet their learning needs and goals. In a typical lesson, we'll review what we've learned in previous sessions, build on that skill with new information, complete guided practice exercises, and then you'll have some time to practice on your own. I'll be there every step of the way and provide helpful feedback on your work when you're done!
My specialty areas include high school and college-level writing, literature, and rhetoric courses. Whether you want to learn more about a specific author or genre, or you want to improve as a writer, I'll meet you where you are and help you master that skill!
