About Marisa

Years of experience working in education, and currently providing direct teaching to those with ASD.

First attained my BA in Psychology at York University, doing extensive research. I then attended Trent University (Masters of Science in Developmental Psychology) where I had the opportunity to create lessons and be a teaching assistant for two years. I also wrote my thesis on “Relations Between Identity Development, Study Habits, and Grades in Adolescence.” I am now finishing up my MPEd at Western.

I utilize patience, compassion, and my knowledge of English. Certified and a masters-level professional with a background in research and thesis writing. Defined by coworkers as trustworthy, knowledgable, professional, and a team player.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalized to each individual I work with. After you provide me with some information on areas of need and your current education, I create a lesson plan that works for you! Zoom will allow easy access and flexibility in scheduling! My #1 goal is to provide the utmost support.
