About Koa
I am an ESL tutor with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in English Language and Literature and 15 years of teaching experience helping students improve fluency, comprehension, and confidence in English. I teach learners of all ages and levels, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing while also improving grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. My lessons are interactive, engaging, and practical, incorporating authentic texts, multimedia resources, and real-life scenarios to ensure learning is meaningful and applicable. ESL lessons with me are designed to build fluency, comprehension, and confidence in English. Each class begins with a review of prior lessons to reinforce learning. Speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills are practiced in every session. Vocabulary is taught contextually through reading passages, dialogues, and conversations. Grammar is explained clearly and applied through exercises.
Listening practice includes audio recordings, dialogues, and videos. Speaking exercises focus on pronunciation, conversation, and role-play. Reading activities improve comprehension, vocabulary, and reading speed. Writing sessions cover sentence formation, paragraph writing, and short essays.
Real-life examples are incorporated to make learning practical. Lessons are interactive and encourage questions and participation. Homework helps reinforce skills and concepts outside class.
