About Daniel

I am a Masters student at the University of Western Ontario and my degree is in Physiology & Pharmacology. While at university, I was inspired to teach because of my experiences as a Teaching Assistant and a department tutor. I worked hard to make my lessons fun and engaging, and alongside helping students succeed on their tests and answering their questions, my ultimate goal was to inspire excitement for science and self-motivated learning.

I have received praise from previous students for explaining ideas in a way that is easy to understand, making useful connections between concepts, and creating helpful visuals.

I want to make sure that you feel confident in your ability to recall important information, explain what you know, and apply learned ideas to new problems.

About the lesson

My focus is student-centered learning. By breaking down big ideas, I will support you in fitting the pieces together to solidify a complete picture and make connections.

I present my lessons classroom/lecture style and welcome questions along every step of the way. Lessons are constructed around the topics you identify as difficult. I will implement activities that test understanding, analysis, and application to check for learning.

Science and education are my passions in life and I truly care about your success as a student. Whether you are senior elementary, high school, or university undergraduate, I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals!
