About Xavier
I studied in Montreal for one year and then moved to Durham to attend UOIT. I'm currently doing a Bachelor of Automotive Engineering, I have a very strong fundamental understanding of Mathematics and Chemistry that I can pass onto you. Learning is like a house, if your foundation is weak, it can't be built upon.

Everyone learns at their own pace, having a small group (or one-on-one) really helps to gauge how strong the students are.
The lesson would consist of attempting to generalize the concept of the material being studied through the use of analogies. Next would be a more direct approach such as sample problems that would be demonstrated in a very verbose manor. After that sample problems would be done by the student, these problems will be done semi-autonomously meaning, if a question is asked I would reply with another question to guide the student in the right direction without giving the answer. Doing so helps the student develop a sense of problem solving for the topic. If no work is assigned to the student by their teacher, worksheets with matching solutions will be provided by myself. Finally at the end of the tutoring session the student will get a summary of the content covered.
If the lesson is done online, the entire lesson can be recorded (at the discretion of the student or student's parent) then uploaded privately for future use.
We could also meet at OntarioTechU/UOIT as well. There's plenty of study spaces with whiteboards which is great for math.
