About Zoya

Assalamu Alaikum everyone!. I know there are many tutors on this website, so you might be wondering — why choose me? My maths lessons are fully online and designed to be interactive, clear, and supportive. I believe that every student can succeed in maths with the right guidance, so my teaching style focuses on building confidence alongside knowledge. I always begin with a short recap of what the student already understands, then move step by step into new material, making sure there is plenty of time for questions and practice. I use Google Meet or Microsoft Teams for my classes, along with an online whiteboard where I can write, draw, and explain concepts in real time. This allows students to follow my explanations just like in a classroom, but with the added advantage of flexibility and comfort from learning at home. To keep lessons engaging, I often include problem-solving activities, short quizzes, and worksheets that match the student’s level. My lessons are never one-size-fits-all. I adapt my pace and methods depending on how each student learns best. Some students need more visual examples, while others prefer plenty of practice problems or detailed step-by-step explanations. By tailoring my approach, I help students stay motivated and feel supported throughout their learning journey. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and have valuable experience teaching online. I have worked with both school-going and home-schooled students, helping them not only improve their grades but also enjoy maths. My aim is to make lessons friendly, encouraging, and effective so students finish each class feeling more confident than before.

I work with KS2 & KS3 students, including home-schooled learners, to build skills and confidence step by step.
