About Nannie
Holding an MSc Pure Mathematics from the University of Toronto allows me to break complex ideas into simple components. Math finally clicked for me once someone slowed down the pace and explained the underlying logic. This is how I teach trigonometry, arithmetic, number sense, mental math, competition prep, word problems, linear algebra, and homework help.
My 8 years of experience have helped many students achieve a 7.0 score. Coaching is my focus while we work through obstacles together. I help you solve problems by slowing down, understanding the 'why' and making the path forward clear and intuitive.

Starting with a clear concept, we walk through the fundamental logic behind your specific homework questions before moving into more challenging competition math scenarios. Because I earned an MSc Pure Mathematics, I can explain the theory behind trigonometry and linear algebra using simple steps that make sense.
9 steps are typically involved in my process to ensure full mastery of the material. Arithmetic and mental math drills keep the mind sharp during our time together. We prioritize accuracy in word problems to build your confidence over time. You may find that simply reviewing your notes is enough to get started.
