Hi, I'm David. My tutoring approach is based on working through presented problems and topics in advance with incorporation of similar worked through questions with visual aid. For more advance courses I include some theory and explanation of "why" a concept or formula works the way it does.
What to expect from a lesson:
- Before the scheduled lesson I would ask the student to present a topic/concept/ specific problem or homework.
- During the lesson I would go through visual problem solving techniques, then work through examples together.
- I would present a couple similar problems for the student to tackle independently with guided instructions.
- We will summarize each learned concept and important key-take aways.
The lessons are adapted to the student’s level and confidence/understanding.
