About Eddie
I have had a lifelong passion for maths, and think it is a truly beautiful subject, and I wish to pass my love for it along to others. I truly believe that studying maths helps people in indirect ways; for example, learning how to tackle maths problems can improve overall problem solving abilities.
It is important to me to not rush people, as stress both is detrimental to learning, but also can poison a person's experience with a subject, so I will be as flexible as I can, and go at the pace right for an individual student.

I am a mathematics graduate from the University of Bristol who wishes to share my love for maths with others, and so am offering 1 on 1 maths tutoring for A levels and below.
I am flexible around lesson times, as it is important for me to make sure that any and all concepts are understood before moving on, and to work at the student's pace.
Currently I can only teach lessons over the weekend, but I should be able to offer weekday lessons from February.
I try to come at problems from the student's frame of reference, and find that using visualising techniques and metaphors helps convey key ideas.
