About Kananelo

Hi, I'm Kananelo — a Wits University Mathematics Honours graduate with a deep passion for helping learners excel in math. I truly believe that with the right support and guidance, any learner can master mathematics and perform at their best.

In high school, I received extra lessons myself, and that experience helped me rise to the top of my class — finishing Matric with a 91% in Mathematics. Now, I use what I’ve learned, both as a student and a tutor, to help others build confidence, improve their marks, and develop a real understanding of math.

Whether your goal is to catch up or aim higher, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

About the lesson

My lessons are interactive and learner-focused. I encourage learners to attempt problems first so we can identify exactly where the difficulties lie. From there, we work together to build a deeper understanding of the topic through clear explanations, guided practice, and reinforcement.

I primarily tutor in English. However, I can accommodate a learner who speaks Sesotho. I create a supportive environment where learners feel confident asking questions and making mistakes — because that’s how real learning happens. Every lesson is designed to strengthen both mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills, helping learners grow more confident and capable with each session.
