About Lisa
I am a Math tutor with 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Analysis. Teaching Mathematics has shown me that every learner can achieve success when concepts are explained patiently and connected in meaningful ways.
I create lessons that are supportive, structured, and adapted to individual learning needs. My focus is on helping students build lasting confidence through conceptual understanding, regular practice, and encouraging guidance throughout every stage of learning.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying mathematical models, designing learning resources, and exploring new educational techniques. These interests help me create engaging lessons that encourage curiosity and strengthen mathematical confidence.

My Mathematics lessons are designed to help students see numbers as connected ideas instead of isolated formulas. We study algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, probability, sequences, coordinate geometry, and logical reasoning through simple explanations and practical examples. I encourage students to understand the purpose behind every method before solving questions. Every class is planned to build confidence gradually while creating a comfortable learning environment where mistakes become opportunities to learn.
As students strengthen their understanding, we practice mathematical modelling, graph interpretation, equation solving, estimation methods, mental calculations, and examination strategies through carefully organized activities. I demonstrate different solving approaches whenever possible so learners become flexible thinkers who can handle unfamiliar questions with confidence. Regular revision, guided exercises, and discussion sessions improve accuracy while developing stronger analytical skills.
My goal is to help students become independent learners who enjoy solving mathematical challenges. Every lesson strengthens logical thinking, careful reasoning, and confidence that supports future academic success.
