About Serena
I am a Math tutor with 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's in Mathematics Education. I enjoy helping students replace uncertainty with confidence by explaining mathematical concepts in a simple and encouraging way.
My teaching approach combines patience, clear communication, and structured practice. I support every learner with lessons that build strong foundations while encouraging independent thinking and continuous improvement.
Outside teaching, I enjoy creating mathematics activities, solving logical puzzles, and reading about innovative teaching methods. These interests help me design enjoyable lessons that make Mathematics meaningful and rewarding.

My Mathematics lessons help students build strong numerical understanding through logical reasoning and carefully structured learning. We study algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, probability, coordinate geometry, equations, functions, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving techniques using simple English and practical examples. Every lesson encourages learners to understand each concept completely before moving to more challenging questions. I believe confidence grows naturally when students understand the logic behind every mathematical process.
As students continue progressing, we work on graph interpretation, estimation methods, word problems, numerical patterns, examination preparation, mathematical modelling, calculation accuracy, and revision strategies through organized practice sessions. I explain different solution methods while encouraging learners to think independently and choose approaches that make sense to them. Guided exercises, concept reviews, and detailed feedback strengthen understanding while improving both speed and confidence.
My goal is to help students become independent mathematical thinkers who enjoy solving problems with confidence. Every lesson develops reasoning ability, analytical thinking, and skills that support success across many subjects.
