About Joanna
For the last eight years, I have been teaching mathematics from middle school to high school level courses. Including teaching the IB diploma program, IGSCE and other high school courses. I have taught in both public and private international schools, teaching the British, America Core, Australian Victorian, and the Canadian British Columbia Curriculum. I tutored students from grade 6-12, in one-on-one and group settings, personalizing their lessons to achieve their academic goals and raising their overall maths score.
I have graduated with a Bachelor of Mathematics from Wilfrid Laurier and Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University in 2016. I completed my studies in Canada and have taught in schools in China, Colombia, Australia and Switzerland.
My lessons are individualized for the learner, to best meet their needs, with engaging lessons that offer a variety of resources and strategies to make learning fun.
