About Mariam
I am a Second-Year Speech Pathology Student currently tutoring mathematics online. I am passionate about teaching and children's education as this is what I study at university.
I want to ensure that my students achieve their absolute best and unlock their potential through consistent practice and teaching of concepts as well as mathematical strategies to support their independence.

My experiences tutoring mathematics online for a year have taught me different skills and have allowed me to cater to all types of students.
I make the lessons as engaging as possible, providing breaks where necessary and ensuring the student achieves enough practice to effectively apply the skills they learn with me to their classroom environment and homework.
I also teach exam and homework strategies to allow my students to be independent learners and function in the classroom to the best of their abilities.
My sessions are approximately 1 hour long in addition to homework if requested by the parent.
