About Gopika

I offer tutoring in Maths, and Further Maths A level, as well as Maths GCSE. I am to start university in September 2022 to complete an integrated master's maths degree at Durham University, after achieving 5 A* in my A levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, EPQ. I have tutored many students in STEM subjects for over 4 years now, including helping a student take their foundation GCSE maths exam. I would like to tutor in order to share my love for mathematics, making it more simple, fun and easier to understand for those who may find it more difficult. I think the few years of experience I have gained has made me into an adaptable, adept tutor. I have strengthened my communication skills whilst also advancing my tutoring techniques. My passion for mathematics is what makes me a better tutor as my enthusiasm shines through my teaching.

About the lesson

I like to teach in the way that I find easiest to learn. I am able to adapt my teaching methods to the way the students learn best. I try to make my techniques fun and memorable, ensuring that the child will remember as much as possible. I am a fun, persistent person, who loves a challenge, which is one of the main reasons that I find mathematics so interesting. I strongly believe that knowing the personality of the child can help me to understand the best way for them to be taught. Many people find mathematics particularly hard, but I think that this is just because they haven't found their best way to understand harder concepts.
