About Rosie
I am an undergraduate studying Biology and Chemistry at Durham University.
Having achieved 12 grade 9s at GCSE, and 44/45 IB points, I know the revision methods and exam techniques required to fully understand a subject, optimise your grades, and gain enjoyment out of learning.
I know that a lack of confidence and fear of asking questions are often key aspects holding students back, and as such I would like to help in both these issues through encouraging, personalised lessons.
Having helped to tutor many of my peers, I also understand the methods required to achieve fast, lasting improvements in both understanding and assessment grades.

Lessons will be 1 hour each, taught online over Zoom or Teams, and tailored to the student's needs, taking on board feedback to optimise lesson focus too. I understand exams and tricky concepts can be daunting, so I will offer guidance, reassurance, and encouragement.
Lessons start with identifying weaknesses and gaps in knowledge, through a combination of practice questions and concept discussions. I will use clear explanations, a mix of short and long practice questions, and past-paper questions to give a continuously broad approach to teaching the subject, as I have always found that this is the best way to learn
