About Amar
Hi, I'm Amar! I'm a big fan of STEM subjects and always have been since early school days. Part of that is due to how interesting it is how there's so many different ways to understand the various concepts, and different people's brains are more suited to different methods than others.
I graduated with a first class degree in Computer Science - a very logic-heavy subject - and with that I'm quite confident with the logical thinking and reasoning skills necessary to be an effective STEM tutor. I currently focus on the subjects I took for my A-Levels - Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science - so I'll be able to better understand things from a student's perspective.

For further maths, I can help with all available options - further mechanics, further statistics, further pure and decision maths.
The length of the lessons can be flexible according to the student's needs.
I'm good at picking apart and understanding how people think and understand things, allowing me to guide them in the direction that is best for them. That's why I don't intend to stick to any particular standard lesson structure or box myself into a specific methodology, and instead focus on getting a full understanding of what each specific student needs, and then working with them to meet those needs.
During my time as a student, and even beyond, a fair amount of my studying was more than learning the subjects themselves, but also about learning the various methods on how to learn better. I'm confident I'll be able to use this knowledge to not only teach my students the subjects I'm there to teach, but also to teach them how to better teach themselves.
