Thomas helped me when I was trying to understand complicated maths and physics models. His combined background in maths and computing meant he had a really good understanding of the bigger picture. He then was able to translate that into a clear explanation suited to my background (which is quite different). He explains things clearly and adapts his teaching depending on the type of student. He is always patient and kind. Thomas is very clever but never considers any question to be a 'silly question' and is always enthusiastic.
