About Hamish
I'm a fun, empathetic, and considerate tutor, having worked through my own academic struggles in various levels of academia.
My competency is demonstrated by my success in A levels (I sat my exams a year early), my university degree (I graduated with a distinction), and my profession (I am currently working as a climate researcher).
Outside of the classroom, I'm interested in running, photography, cooking, and music - I work as a musician part-time. I'm passionate about learning more about you as a student and an individual!

My approach lies in reframing complex ideas into manageable and intuitive concepts that can be applied to exercises, building fundamental skills and techniques in a student's skillset.
I typically teach for 1 hour, for GCSE or A level preparation. My extensive experience in maths and physics, including a university degree, with a specialisation in weather and climate science, qualify me for this position.
