About Jacob
I play the drums in a jazz ensemble in Bristol, and CASUALLY (as the standard of sports here has shown me) enjoy football, basketball, rock climbing and trampolining. I also secretly write poetry. I speak semi-fluent Spanish that I started studying at GCSE and continued ever since. Once upon a time, when I was in the Air Cadets, I attained the rank of Corporal, so I am comfortable in leading and instructing others, and my favourite cuisine is Thai.

You will tell me the topic in specific you wish to study, and we will start the session with a set of questions of varying difficulty for me to gauge where in the chapter we should start studying material from as to not waste time, after which we will transition to a virtual whiteboard where I can design questions with pitfalls and traps designed to catch you, just as in the exams. I have previously worked teaching the drums, but my main tutoring experience comes from teaching my little brother, bringing him from a predicted 5-5 in year 10 combined science to an 8-9 in his recent results, so I am now virtualising the same methods I used with him. I am available for sessions from 1 to 2 and a half hours, if needed during crunch time before exams. I attained A* in maths and chemistry, and an A in physics during my A levels, and so I can tutor either GCSE or A level, whether it's to bring you up from a failing grade or push you the final stretch to the top grade. I am studying Chemistry at the University Of Bristol, so forgive me if I seem strangely passionate during chemistry sessions, it's what I am devoting my life to lol.
