I beleive that all students are more than capable at understanding and building strongskills in mathematics and with numbers, sometimes it just takes that deeper level of understanding to get there.
I like to get to know my students on a personal and academic level as I beleive in a holistic approach to learning and teaching is the best way to see success in all areas of your life. The goal is to build students self-confidence so that they can realise their dreams.
I have a Bsc Degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of York. I have just started to build my tutoring and teaching repertoire with the key goal of helping young people grow into well rounded talented adults.
My lessons are for any students, primarily GCSE level or A-level but younger students would also be welcome! The lessons depend on the needs of the student and would be personally tailored to help them meet their goals.
