About Ashwinnie
Hello, as you've seen I'm a part-time tutor and have had a special love for maths ever since in high school. As a kid, I didn't have much coaching and found maths being really hard for me to understand but as I grew up I noticed that there were so many ways to learn maths, and lowkey can be fun and the satisfaction you get from being able to solve it would be amazing, trust me. Again, my job is to guide alongside you to help find all those methods to easily tackle each of the questions with confidence. I hope we can work together and aim for the best outcomes. Since, I'll be focusing on improving their skills. I would start by assessing their core strengths first by checking if they could solve some basic questions (depending on their age) or where they tend to stop at. From there, I will be able to show them the right way to tackle the questions, we will also be following the school's lesson plan (topics) for smoother preparation for tests. I think we should keep each lesson for 1.5 hours and if required 2h but with a short break in between to relax their mind. I have had experience teaching in kindergarten to kids and used more learning aids, in English and Mandarin. I will be open to take in students from Year 1- Year 6.
